New Orleans Photography Workshop

Hi everyone. I just got back from a trip to New Orleans where I attended a great photography conference. I had a lot of fun meeting new people and learning new things about my craft.

The highlight of the trip was an available light shooting workshop with famed Joe Buissink (wedding photographer for Kelsey Grammer, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, etc.). Joe's kindness and generosity shines with his eagerness to share his talents and knowledge with others. The bridal shots below were taken without flash on the streets of the French Quarter.

Cousins

My neice and nephew visited us recently so I thought I'd try to get a few shots of them with our daughter, who's 1 1/2.  Needless to say, 3 kids + 3 ages = 3 minutes of attention!  Whew!  This turned out to be one of the cuter ones.

Nashville Engagement - Ben & Rebecca

Rain, rain, rain! We had days of rain prior to Ben & Rebecca's engagement session, and a lot of rain the morning before our shoot. Luckily, the rain stopped and we were able to capture great images out and about in Franklin, Tennessee.
